Girls Can’t Ski
Yes, I realize it is nearly spring, but snow skiing sure sounds like fun right about now. I haven’t been skiing in several years, but I was pretty good in my prime. I have made it down a quite a few intermediate and at least two “expert” level hills when I was younger.
A Girls Can’t WHAT? fan I was chatting with the other day mentioned that she loves to ski and I instantly knew that would be my next design. I’m kicking myself for not making this one sooner as it is one of my favorite sports. In fact, I love to watch the winter Olympics just to see all the different skiing events, including alpine skiing, downhill, slalom, giant slalom, super G, and combined, freestyle skiing, cross country skiing, and nordic combined (ski jumping and cross country skiing).
My favorites have typically been downhill and freestyle and some of my favorite female skiers have been Petra Kronberger, Lindsey Kildow, Laurie Graham, Karen Percy, Kerrin Lee-Gartner, Josee Lacasse, Lucie Laroche, Michelle McKendry, Nancy Gee and Kellie Casey and Kristen Ulmer. I know I missed a few so I may be back to add more as I think of them.
