Kiku Collins PosterMeet Kiku Collins.

Kiku plays a “man’s” instrument.

A trumpeter from New Jersey, Kiku never let gender interfere with her love of music.  She carried her fascination of the trumpet all the way through the Manhattan School of Music and can be found touring with the likes of Michael Bolton and Beyonce.  Her chops are amazing and her first album “Here With Me” was a smashing success with Kiku playing not only trumpet, but Flugelhorn and valve trombone as well.

Not only does Kiku work the music scene, but she has also been in commercials for such clients as Sprite, ABC Nightline, Checkers, Miller, Sony, HBO Latin, Visa, Burger King, Ikea, Carefree Gum, Phillips, Wisk, Certs and many others as well as producing quite a few commercials herself. And if that isn’t enough, she enjoys freelancing as an actor, musician and singer in off Broadway productions and in local and international festivals.

Kiku is a fan of Girls Can’t WHAT? and is also mom to an 8-year-old daughter who plays trombone and wants to be a boxer when she grows up. Very cool!

Learn more about Kiku at her website and listen to samples of her fantastic music.  You won’t be disappointed!
