I played also and it was my all time favorite sport but my mother won’t let me play now that I’m going into highschool. It’s so unfair. I love it more than anyother sport

thats so true………. i play all on “BOYS” teams, hockey football, lacrosse, baseball, rugby, socccer, and every boy on our team knows that i could beat them any day. but when i first tried out everyone laughed at me thinking that me a hirl couldnt make it onto the boys team. This made mepush so had that i made the team. Every game we have at least one guy comes up to me and says “didnt you forget ur pompoms” or go talk to their coach saying “i can play i might hurt her.” and then i just go up to them and say im just as much as a boy as you so play me!!!! I practice as hard and as long as i can to proove that i am just as good as they are!!!

I play on my schools football team, many boys thought i wouldent make it through the year, but i knew i could, halfway through the season our origanal quaterback had a serisous ingury and my coach dicided to give me that postion, i felt so over joyed. All the boys on my team were stuned. This proves that girls can play football!

Great to she girls getting into male dominated sports we have girls that play touch rugby here in South Africa, but there isn’t a great following though.

i can see why theres not much of a following…when i played football and wrestling i was the only girl who did in at our school…i dont see why..and u kno all the girls laughed at me and the volleyball team made shirts that said “if volleyball was easy they’d call it football”…they did it just b/c i quit on them but honestly i mite of gone back to volleyball this year if it hadn’t been for that..they kind of ruined it for me now

Alyssa that stinks. Usually when people are that rude it’s because they are jealous. The volleyball team members are probably wishing they had the guts to do what you did. Be proud of your accomplishments!
