Girls Can’t WHAT? has been participating in KIVA’s lending program for a little over a year now. Each month I calculate the previous month’s profit from Girls Can’t WHAT? sales and place 20% of that amount into micro-loans through KIVA. To date we’ve been able to help nearly 100 women improve their education, build their business and improve their economic status by lending each one a small amount.
