I went to guitar practice last summer. In our class their were more boys than girls. It was my first time playing a guitar. I was kinda bad, honestly.
And this boy came up to me saying “Hasn’t anyone told you that girls are stupid and can’t learn as quick as boys?” I was embarrassed. So I practiced everyday to show that boy that girls can do it.
So by the end of summer I was better than any boy there and I showed him!

Way to go Taylor! That’s exactly what you should do. Ignore the critics and work hard. As long as you believe you can do it, it doesn’t matter what anyone else says or thinks. :d/
