Black Girl Magazine – Founded by 14-year old Atlanta resident, Kenya Jordana James in 2002, Blackgirl Magazine and its youthful staff are commited to providing information that not only entertains, but empowers. As the first magazine of its kind, Blackgirl focuses on promoting positive messages and imagery among African American teens, while offering insightful coverage of history, culture, lifestyle, and entertainment news from a unique perspective.
12/20/07 Update: I do not know how to to reach Kenya or how to get in touch with anyone responsible for publishing this magazine. If someone has a link or email address for the publisher, please let me know so I can update this page. Thanks.
