Grab your rod and reel, tackle box, favorite hat and head out to the lake to catch the big one! Who says girls can’t fish? I love to go fishing and I’m not afraid to touch the worms or the fish. And yes, I bait my own hook and take the fish off! I would probably filet them too, but we usually just do the “catch and release” thing.
Apparently a LOT of you like to go fishing because I have received a ton of requests for this design. So here she is…check her out in the Girls Can’t WHAT? Gift Shop. And since so many of you seem to know the difference between a bluegill and catfish, I’m betting you have some pretty fishy stories to tell, too. Perhaps I can “lure” you into sharing them with us. :)
As usual, I tried to find some good lyrics to go along with this design, but there just isn’t anything out there about girls who fish. Sounds like a good country song to me – something like “Girls can’t fish”. About the best I could come up with was Tim McGraw’s Don’t Take the Girl which mentions “a little girl came through the front gate holdin’ a fishing pole”. Not the sentiment I’m going for here, though, so I’ll settle for this anonymous quote: Good things come to those who bait. ;)

We went Fishing a few weeks ago and freeze our bottoms off. I think it was 25 degrees. Way too cold for Arizona. We even fished in 115 degree weather, it was so hot and the fish were playing with us. Yes, if you are ever in Arizona call me and we will hang out. You can catch some BMX action in Illinois, I’ll email you the places.

No fair – you went fishing more times than I did last year! I think my license is about to expire, too, but here in Illinois, it’s not worth renewing it until about April. Otherwise, you sit in the cold for nothing. 8-| I bet in Arizona you get to fish all year round. That would be so cool!
BTW – I have several family members that live out there in AZ. If I ever drop by for a visit, I’ll look you up. Maybe I can catch a BMX race or something… :)

Love the fishing design. I need to order a sweatshirt to wear when I go fishing. I have been fishing a dozen times this year. In fact I just got my new license, and the price up by $5.50. I love fishing, but in the dozen times that I went this year, I never even caught a fish. Fishing is something that me and Mom do together, we travel all over Arizona looking for good fishing places. So far the favorite is Willow Creek Lake.
