Western Oregon’s Sara Tucholsky hit her first career home run with the help from opposing team Central Washington. As Sara was heading back to tag first base, she tore her ACL. The umpire told her coach if she didn’t run the bases by herself, the home run wouldn’t count. If her teammates touched her, it would only count as a two base hit.
The opposing team saw her pain and did the unexpected. Watch this incredible video to see an amazing display of sportsmanship.
By the way, Central Washington lost that day 4-2.
