As we Americans celebrate Martin Luther King’s birthday, let’s not forget the women who also contributed to the civil rights movement. I especially enjoyed this video tribute to Coretta Scott King.
Thought for the day…why isn’t there an American National Holiday celebrating a woman’s accomplishments? Do other countries have national holidays that revolve around a woman’s achievements or birthdate? Anyone know the answer to this?
