If you’re reading this right now, you have electricity.
Being “powered on” is something we often take for granted.
I know I feel lost when the power goes out. What to do?
No Internet. No air-conditioning. No hot meals…. ugh!
But what if your reality meant you didn’t have electricity at all? What would you do?
Meet Blanca Lidia, who lives in El Salvador with her family. She lives in a house without any electricity at all. She doesn’t even have a sidewalk leading up to her door. Her children have to climb over broken rocks and debris every time they come home.
But you just changed that.
By supporting Girls Can’t WHAT?, you were able to help Blanca fulfill her dream of having electricity and a concrete path to her doorstep. Each month we give 20% of our profits to help women like her build businesses, pay for education costs and improve their living standards. It feels good to be able to help people change their circumstances for the better, doesn’t it?
Sometimes it’s the little things that have the most impact.
We just want to say thank you for supporting Girls Can’t WHAT? and helping us change the world. One girl at a time.
