Wow, I love this idea, and I had no idea there was a charity addressing the problem.
When I lived in the jungles in Indonesia, I used washable pads (they were on the list of supplies to bring; I had not known they even existed!)
When I left, I left them with one of the villagers. When they get their periods, they put on all the clothes they own! I couldn’t imagine living that way, especially in that heat and humidity.
We take so much for granted in our cushy, rich lives!

Loosing up to 50 days a year because you didn’t have a washable pad seems quite extreme. Surely, women are making useful washable pads now.
