I am a huge gamer. The love of my life is my xbox 360. Everyday I play on it, whether it be Assassins Creed 1 2 3 and 4 Resident Evil 5 Halo Gears of War Fable 1 2 and 3 or my favorite two Oblivion and Skyrim. I’ve heard on more than occasion that I can’t be a gamer cause I was a girl.
The first time I heard someone say that to me was in 7th grade during gym. I was talking to a close friend of mine about the game I was playing at that time. It was Oblivion. The guy in front of me said “You shouldnt play video games.” I asked why and he answered “cause you’re a girl – girls aren’t supposed to game.”
I was furious. I dont care what they say, I can game as good as the next guy. I have been gaming since I was 5 and I’m still doing it. I’m not stopping anytime soon. I’m proud to be a girl gamer.

Jonny cage is cocky as all heck. But yeah I’m a girl too and I love gaming. I’ve been playing since I was five too. I mostly play fighting games and I’m dying to get fight night vs tekken but I’m also thinking of playing things like final fantasy cod and yes scrim. Keep on gaming girl!

Dani – I’m not much of a video game player, although I have been known to rock Johnny Cage and Rayden on Mortal Combat II. There are a lot of girls who are amazing players and it sounds like you’re one of them! Keep it up and you’re absolutely right – girls can be gamers without a doubt!
