Who says girls can’t lift weights?
If you’re in doubt, check out this YouTube clip of Women’s Weightlifting at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. You’ve gotta watch the entire video – it’s just fascinating.
It’s also a good lesson to see that the winner wasn’t the biggest, the strongest or the crowd favorite. The gold medal winner had the smallest body size and also set a new world record in the process of winning the gold.
This bodybuilder design was one of the top requested designs this year and I’m pleased to be adding it to the shop this week. You can find this design in light and dark skin tones as well as a blonde version and a version of just the weights.
If you’re into weightlifting and have a story to share, let us know in the comments. You never know who you will inspire!
Below is a small sample of products with the bodybuilder design. For a complete list, see the weightlifting section in the Girls Can’t WHAT? shop.

I am in my 50’s. I have been lifting weights since I was 20 years old. The health benefits–both physical and mental–are amazing. It does scare guys in the gym even though I am not “big”.
