The violinist design has been on my radar for quite some time as I’ve had multiple requests for it. I love string instruments but the best I can do on a violin is to play a very scratchy D major scale. :D
So for those of you that play violin, who are your favorite female violinists? I don’t know that I have any favorite string musicians, but I’m betting you can name some fairly fabulous players and maybe hook me up with a few outstanding YouTube clips. ;)
Until then, here’s my tribute to honor all the women who play violin. Enjoy!
Three variations of the violin design are available in the Girls Can’t WHAT? Gift Shop.

This past holiday season my boyfriend and I got tickets to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra perform. While the entire show was absolutely astounding, the true stand-out was Anna Phoebe as she dashed from one end of the stage to the other, around the floor seats to the rear of the area, playing all the while on her hot-pink electric violin. She even played while doing a back-bend with another musician leaning over her!
