This character has been a long time in the making. My girls have been bugging me to make billiards player ever since they got their first pool cues for Christmas in 2007. I have a special affinity for shooting pool and I’m pretty decent at it. I started playing in high school and by the time I made it to college I was skilled enough to win a campus tournament, beating out several guys in the process, of course. :D
So for all you ladies out there running the table, this one’s for you! You can find this design on t-shirts, hoodies, magnets, stickers, posters, mugs and more in the Girls Can’t WHAT? Gift Shop.

Great article. Believe it or not, one of my most formidable pool opponents was a woman. She was incredible. I always knew women could do a lot of things as good as men, especially pool, but that proved it.
By the way, for tips and tricks shooting pool, I do a pretty good job. My site: http://www.ishootpool.com.

By establishing the first billiard championship in America (and winning it too) as well as publishing the first set of billiard rules and pool table etiquette, Phelan made the pool and billiards the popular sports they are today.

Field trip? You mean we don’t get credit hours for that? :o

Totally awesome! Glad to know I wasn’t the only one taking a self sanctioned “field trip” for “research” during school hours. :-” :d
