Ah yes, the Olympics have started and here I am still trying to finish up the track and field designs for my shop. Today I’m adding the discus thrower (what is the correct terminology for this event?). I remember trying to throw the discus in jr. high track, but being short and petite, I lacked the power to launch the darn thing very far. Coach said I had good form, tho. :)
I suppose I’m not too terribly late for the Olympics, the Discus event takes place this Friday, August 15th. I have no idea who is participating in the women’s division so I have no favorite to share. I’m a little bummed that I just don’t have the time to watch the Olympics this year, but I’m sure I’ll be able to find the highlights on youtube in a few weeks. ;)
