Diva Racing Coach Lissa Weeks just sent me this breaking news about 7 year old BMX racer Madison Martinez. Holding trophies as tall as she is, Madison is the picture of dynamite on wheels. She currently holds the #1 spot an several levels:

- State #1
- Redline Cup #1
- Race of Champions #1
- National Age Group #1
What’s next? UCI World Domination
All this at age 7?
Madison Martinez has been selected by the USA Cycling Organization to represent Team USA at the 2007 UCI BMX World Championships in Victoria, BC. Canada. As a member of Team USA, Madison will be competing against riders from around the world.
The UCI BMX World Championships is an event sponsored by the UCI, the sports international governing body. The UCI BMX World Championships are held annually and the winner of each event is crowned the BMX World Champion.
As the sport evolves to its new Olympic status, the 2007 Championships will be one of the most important championships ever. Results in Victoria will help determine country rankings and athlete participation numbers for the sport’s Olympic debut in Beijing in 2008.
Madison is looking for donations to help with her entry fees and travel expenses as she travels to Canada July 26 – 29, 2007 to compete against riders from around the world with hopes of becoming the UCI World Champion.

Here is the link for the video of Madison winning the world champsionship. Look at 5-7 girls, also you can see Alise Post getting 2nd in the 16 girls class and 1st in the 16 girl cruiser class.

Just an update!! Madison won at the UCI Worlds Today to become the #1 7 year old BMX Racer in the World!!! She beat out girls from other countries including Canada, Columbia, Great Britain and Lithuania.
