Hey Paris Vogue – you might wanna run a background check on your “art director” for this despicable spread. My first thought at seeing the full set of photos was that none of these girls are smiling. Sure, little girls like to play dress up, but when they do – they are smiling and look like they are having fun. These girls look eerily sad.

well, i guess it was sorta of because he wanted little girls to replicate actual models?

I agree completely. I showed this picture to my 5 year old daughter and asked what she thought – she said they must be sad because their dresses didn’t twirl and they weren’t pink. I think she could help this editor out! Even though I disagree with the spread I am glad to see that there was an undershirt on the girl in the black dress. I’m rather surprised, actually, that there wasn’t a lot more skin showing.
