I’m getting kind of lonely here talking all about myself and all the times I’ve been told I “can’t” do something because I’m female. i entered the lucas county sheriff’s office peace officer academy in january. my husband filed for divorce in march claiming that i had become a neglectful wife and mother. he did not feel that being a deputy sheriff was a womans job. he said that i would see too much that i would not be able to handle. needless to say, i graduate in august and he can sit and spin. :)
